Over the past few years, the video advertising industry has significantly moved from television to online sites. One of the main beneficiaries behind this scenario is Google (NASDAQ: GOOG ) (NASDAQ: GOOGL ) , which generates considerable revenue from its video-sharing website, YouTube.
Last year, this subsidiary was estimated to make $5.6 billion in revenue, providing entertainment to more than a billion users per month. Amid the growing trend of companies shifting their budgets from TV ads to digital media, other companies, like social network giant, Facebook (NASDAQ: FB ) , are entering the business of providing video ads.
YouTube is one of Google's most important ad platforms, and it has a positive reputation as an efficient tool to build business brands. Throughout this year, Google has acquired several video ad tech companies, and has also launched new services. These decisions suggest an interesting outlook for growth in the next months and years.

Moreover, EOG has made smart moves to enhance production. In the Eagle Ford, the company has increased well density, boosting overall production from the play. Meanwhile, EOG pioneered the use of railcars to get oil out of the Bakken in light of a lack of pipeline capacity serving the area, and Bakken rival Continental Resources (NYSE: CLR ) now moves more than two-thirds of its Bakken production out of the region by rail. In addition, both EOG and Apache (NYSE: APA ) have used rail transport to get Permian Basin oil to more lucrative Gulf Coast markets in Louisiana, where it can get higher Brent crude prices for the oil.

Despite what can best be described as asoft economy, small cap trucking stocks YRC Worldwide, Inc (NASDAQ: YRCW), Arkansas Best Corporation (NASDAQ: ABFS), Frozen Food Express Industries, Inc (NASDAQ: FFEX), Saia Inc (NASDAQ: SAIA) and USA Truck, Inc (NASDAQ: USAK) have been trucking some pretty impressive returns since the start of the year. In fact, these small cap trucking stocks are up anywhere from 72% to 150% or so since the start of the year despite the slow economy. Certainly trucking stocks provide a good indicator of how the economy is doing, but might investors bejumping the gun by pushing up these trucking stocks?

Advisors' Opinion:- [By James E. Brumley]
For veteran traders who've kept tabs on Sigma Labs Inc. (OTCMKTS:SGLB) over the past three months or so, it may be surprising to hear someone suggest it as a buy. Like so many other stocks of its ilk have done since the beginning of the organized market, SGLB went from (proverbially) zero to hero between late May and mid-July with a move from $0.025 to a peak of $0.118 only to fall back to the $0.04 level a couple of weeks later. It's the relatively common "one hit wonder", and if Sigma Labs followed the usual pattern of other small stocks that burned brilliantly for a few days, we wouldn't see anything particularly bullish from SGLB for a few months, if not years.
